Me and the World in One Frame

Don’t follow the majority, but shine in minority.

Living in this world has been sometimes I consider a terrible mistake, growing up for how many years with the mentality that you have to follow the pattern of the world, you have to be somebody to be part of the trend, to dress up like a doll and its plasticity, where people are more concerned with the number of likes they got in Instagram, more obsessed with the way they look, where beauty abuses its power, patronizing various products and services to fulfill their fleshly and worldly desires, making standards in differentiating the word ‘beautiful’ and ‘ugly’, a place where sex is just a trend, measuring ones intelligence on how efficient one to use such languages, defining someone’s worth through mistakes, using numbers to label someone’s value and above all, living in this unfair world where people try their best to be perfect.

It’s sad to think all of those things. When I was a kid, I always thought that life is full of rainbows and sparkles. But as time goes by, I was wrong. I realized that life was not like that, life was actually full of thunders and storms, but despite of that sad reality, I learned to dance in the rain. I learned to not be moved aways so easily, not to quit unless I’ve tried. Because if you think that everything seems not going right, stay still and know that there is someone who had loved you even if everything is against you.

I had failed many times and fell down everytime, I tried to be perfect to please everyone, but why does it feels empty? I learned that, no matter how far you have been, how high your position is, how rich or famous you are, if you do not find satisfaction to it, it would only bring temporary happiness. Happiness is everywhere, but true and life-long happiness can be found if you had received Christ in your life as your personal saviour, friend to comfort, doctor to heal, teacher to teach, and a father to correct. And then there, you will find comfort and happiness despite of the rocks that life would throw at you. You will find joy and purpose living your life. Every minute and hour will be meaningful and worth the wait.

My First Ever Bisaya Vlog

I did my first vlog in Bisaya because it is my first language, and I bet that many can relate and embrace the amazing magic and emotions of a Bisaya vlog.

So, I hope that I had entertained your weary hearts and spread good vibes through my vlog, though I know that there are more rooms for improvement, I am always thankful for this opportunity, who knows, If God’s will, maybe I can pursue this passion, with the goal of spreading goodwill here on earth and across the universe.

My Talent Brings Money

I have a hidden talent, well I guess it’s not hidden anymore and hey I had already gained money from this. I had been making or creating charcoal portraits since the day I had decided to start working and developing this skill, and I loved it. I love it not because I gained money from this, but because with the money that I got, I had been able to help my family financially. So here’s my commissioned charcoal portraits from my customers since 2018.

I’m happy with the both of them :>

5 Things Most People Don’t Know About Me

Most people don’t know me that well, they sometimes mistaken me as something which is actually not. They thought I am a snob and very intimidating person, now I am falsely accused with those titles. No doubt that their first impression were like that, it is because my looks seems I am a very sassy and perfectionist one. No matter how I tried to look nice, still my physical appearance doesn’t change. There were times when I had the chance to talk to some strangers, they always told me that their first impression to me was not good, they say they were shy or afraid to come close or talk to me, like I’m not gonna eat them anyways. That’s why, it has been part of my personality that whenever I go, I always give people a bright smile, even to strangers, because I believe that smile is contagious and it would give a positive impression to people.

Moreover, those were just some false assumptions to me, but I don’t blame them for that. First impression is not always true, and most people don’t know me well too. So, it’s time to expose everything, in this blog, I will share 5 things most people don’t know about me.

1. Solo Flight.

It’s not what you think. I am not doing any solo flight across the globe, because heyyy it’s nice to have somebody to share those amazing experience with, anyways, what I am trying to say is that I am a solo worker, I prefer to do work on my own. I think I am more productive and will be able to do the tasks more effectively if I do the work alone. But still, I am not saying that I don’t want any help, I do still appreciate help and team-up with anyone, because ‘two are better than one’.

2. Market Fanatics.

I am a market person. I love market places wet or dry. I love the smell, the people and the scenery, it might sounds odd, but I don’t know why I am like this. I find this funny but I love it. I prefer roaming around the market than shopping at the mall.

3. Safe Keeper.

I can keep something as long as they don’t fell apart. I had my phone for about 5 years, though it is not that great like those trendy smartphones, I still want my old phone. I also had many things that I kept for so many years.

4. Excel not Compete.

I had been a top student since elementary. I had been the batch valedictorian both on elementary and junior high school. Been to many places not to have vacation but to compete and use my brain to win many competitions in arts, leadership and academics. However, those countless years striving and trying my best to maintain everything, some people perceived me as someone who competes at everything, even at small things. And that is a completly false information about me, I do not compete but I do my best to excel on my own without harming anyone.

5. Crazy Girl

I am a totally crazy girl. Hey, don’t be afraid, it’s not like some illnesses, but it’s my personality, and my best friends knew that. I am fun to be with. I can do crazy and unexpected things just to make the room go crazy. I love to be with out-going person too. I may seem a reserved person but not all the time. It’s good to have some limitations sometimes. I am a very funny girl and I love who I am.

My name is Gisserie, I was raised all out of love, been so many places around the local, been met so many wonderful people, and been using pencils to draw and keep those cherished memories.

I am a rebel against the world. I stand at my own two feet, deciding where I would go and who I wanted to become. I am confident to be different because not everybody has the courage to go outside their shells, to break the chain of the slavery in the pattern of this world, to be their true selves and to rip those masks they are wearing.

I would like to say thank you and I love you to my Mama Ginalyn and Papa Serio, to my brother Reevo and Nanay Lising, my Tita Letty and to my big loving family, to my teachers and Mama Do, to my friends and classmates! Glory belong to my Father alone!
